We are local volunteers who want to make a difference in our community, we do alternate nights of feeding and socialising stray and abandoned cats, with permission of the owners in the area. Our goal is to give these cats and kittens a better life than the street offers, and we need help, with foster homes, dedicated kind people willing to take in pregnant mums so they don't have to have their babies on the street anymore.We are in the process of talking with the local council to get permission to TNR (trap, neuter and release) for cats that are beyond socialising at this time and are happy to stay in their colony if need be, to live out their lives. With TNR we are ending the endless breeding cycle. These cats will continue being fed by us with hope that they too will eventually be able to rescued, after hormones settled, cats are easier to socialise.If you feel you can help, with trapping, fostering, suggestions of vet help or some can food/cat products please contact us, we don't ask for money, as we would prefer dedicated people who can spare some time or services because these beautiful cats need us.
People are quick to call cats pests but this was not their fault, it was the fault of humans who either didn't know better or did know but didn't care WE DO CARE

Mission Statement
Founded in 2020, Cat Colony Rescue is a self funded volunteer Animal Rescue Service run by and for its volunteers . Based on the Gold Coast Australia , we represent the rights of cats within our community . Our team and volunteers work tirelessly to save lives and promote animal welfare.From abandoned cats to unsocialised misunderstood strays , we advocate for the most vulnerable animal populations. We believe that each and every life is precious, deserving to be treated humanely with a chance to live happily and cruelty-free.
